Today I ate my first pomegranate. I’ve heard of them for years, especially when I played fruit whack with the youth group, but never had one. The truth is in my hometown in Romania, pomegranate don’t grow. Therefore I had no idea how they looked on the inside and how they taste.
Before I asked Google about how to deal with a pomegranate, I wanted to experiment myself. Needless to say the red juice was all over. It was time to ask Google about ‘how to eat a pomegranate’. It knew and it taught me every step.
After I sliced it in half I put the pomegranate in a bowl filled with water and then I separated the seeds from the rest of the fruit… in water. I rinsed the red seeds and ate few of them. They were… ok.
