Last weekend I had the pleasure to be at Planet Wisdom conference. It was awesome! Mark Matlock did a great job! I loved the object lesson – the potter and the clay. For the first time I understood why God sent Jeremiah to the potter’s house before He gave him the message. The spiritual analogy is very powerful.
a) God wants to save us (the centering of the clay on the wheel). Some people stop there…
b) The second step is the opening of the clay… (How much do we open to God? How much do we allow Him to mold us into what He wants us to become?)
c) In order to grow and mold the pottery, the potter must apply some pressure on it. Did you notice how most of the spiritual growth happened when we are under pressure?
