Recently I had the joy of spending some time with one of the saints of our days. Her name is Lucy Esch. For years, Lucy has been paralyzed and now her sight is fading away, as well. However, Lucy doesn’t ever complain… Amazing! Over the years, God used this woman in amazing ways. Everyone who knows Lucy will testify that she is a saint. When she prays God listens. “The only thing I can do is pay”, she says.
I asked Lucy if she has some advice for the teen of our church and she said something very powerful. The words are few, but the truth she spoke is essential for the life and growth of every child of God. Watch what Lucy said!
