Youth Mission Trip To Chiapas, Mexico

Posted on 05 May 2009 by Radu

bruchko1This summer in July Redeemer Youth Group will go on a mission trip to Chiapas Mexico. Our church is supporting and working alongside Nathan and Julie Terrell who live in San Cristobal and who are missionaries to the Chol people. You can find more about the Terrell’s ministry at their website-www.terrelltimes.com

Before we go we decided to read a book about missions. The book we decided to read and talk about is Bruchko by Bruce Olson.  This book talks about what happens when a nineteen-year-old boy leaves home and heads into the jungles to evangelize a murderous tribe of South American Indians.
