Recently I read that most people fear 3 things: death (number one), that they will run out of money (number two) and that they don’t matter (that is the fear of insignificance). How much do we matter after all?
God says that we matter a lot. In His eyes we have mind-boggling worth. We are made in His image (Gen 1:26-27). God has crested us and knows every detail about us (Psalm 139: 13-16). Above all these, God gave Jesus His one and only Son to dies for us. That is before we loved Him, before we knew Him and while we were still sinners.
