Teen Life: Suicide, Drugs, Abortion and Alcohol

Teen life is getting harder and more difficult to navigate.We read and receive alarming data about the stuff teenagers have to deal with today. Where is the hope for the young generation? Is there any hope for them? According to the Bible, God is the ONLY hope for any human being and for an entire generation.

Young men and women need to here the words of  Psalm 119: 9-11 and take them to heart:

9 How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word.

10 I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands.

11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

1. In the next hour, 46 teenage girls will have abortions.

2. In the next hour, 1,370 of our youth will take an illegal drug.

3. 57% of all illegal drugs are sold on school campuses.

4. The stress of school keeps 68% of students awake at night, with 20% of them at least once a week.

5. In the next 30 minutes, 29 kids under age 18 will make a serious attempt at suicide.

6. 100,000 ten-year-olds get drunk at least once a week.
