My new favorite photo editor is “FastStone Image Viewer”. After installing it I took some time to test it’s abilities. To be honest, I am impressed with the different editing options this free software has.

Qtpfsgui is an open source graphical user interface application that aims to provide a workflow for HDR imaging. According to lifehacker.com Qtpfsgui makes standard digicam shots more vibrant.
